Our History

I have had to privilege of working in my chosen profession since high school.  After completing the Electrical Technicians program at Georgian College in Ontario, I apprenticed with various construction companies in Ontario and BC and ended up at the Navy ship yard in Victoria where I worked for 14 years and where my trouble shooting skills were developed.

Shortly after finishing my Red Seal apprenticeship, the church our family attended, embarked on a new building project.  In 1987 I wrote my exams and received my Commercial Contractors License so that I could wire the building as my contribution to the project. The electrical portion of the job went so well that the General Contractor asked me to work with them on another large project and with the help of my wife, I found myself in the electrical contracting business. I worked evenings and Saturdays for many years while still working at the shipyard before deciding to go full time.

During the moonlighting phase of my business, my specialty became small jobs and doing the installations that other contractor’s said couldn’t be done.   I often found myself telling clients that “anything can be done” which propelled my business forward to taking it full-time.

I have never looked back on that decision, as I really enjoy helping people make their homes and workspaces all that they envision.  I truly have found that there is very little that can’t be done with a little imagination and a working knowledge of safety, how buildings are put together and the electrical trade.

In 2016, after our sons and their wives settled in their new communities, we realized our dream of moving to the Comox Valley where I am enjoying helping people with their projects, often times working right along side them.

I am a believer in giving back.  Some of the Charities that I have had the privilege of serving:
